Before I open a design tool, I map the structure. What depends on what. Where the load-bearing moments are. What breaks if something shifts. The diagram matters more than the drawing.

The most valuable insight is never obvious on first look. I'm drawn to edge cases, contradictions, the things that don't fit — because that's usually where the real problem lives.

My strongest work begins as an idea before it becomes an interface. I love the stage where something exists only as a mental model — before constraints, before compromises. That's where vision is born.

Not AI as a feature. AI as a design material — with its own affordances, failure modes and ethical weight. I think about how intelligent systems should behave when no one is watching.

I kept thinking about two people who love each other but want opposite things. A daughter who needs to know her mother is safe. A mother who needs to feel free. Most products betray one of them. I wanted to find the third path.
Zwei Menschen, die sich lieben, aber entgegengesetzte Dinge wollen. Eine Tochter, die wissen muss, dass ihre Mutter sicher ist. Eine Mutter, die sich frei fühlen muss. Die meisten Produkte verraten eine von beiden. Ich wollte den dritten Weg finden.
Not because they're disorganised. Because the system is invisible. Architects think about this constantly. You can't build the second floor before the first is dry. I took that thinking into a product and it unlocked everything.
Nicht weil sie unorganisiert sind — weil das System unsichtbar ist. Architekten denken ständig darüber nach. Ich habe dieses Denken in ein Produkt überführt, und es hat alles erschlossen.
Architecture taught me that orientation is more than a map. It's a feeling — the moment your body understands where it sits in a larger structure. I want every product I design to create that moment of quiet confidence.
Architektur lehrte mich, dass Orientierung mehr ist als eine Karte. Es ist ein Gefühl — der Moment, in dem man versteht, wo man in einer größeren Struktur steht. Dieses Gefühl stiller Sicherheit.
